The TITAN Trail Trekker II™ is compatible with the stock Wrangler spare tire carriers and most of the popular aftermarket tire carriers. The mounting position keeps the tank out of the way and makes the transfer of fuel to the vehicle’s main tank a snap.
• The Trail Trekker II™ will handle 15” and larger wheels and tires up to 37”. • ONLY fits the Jeep JL chassis. • When ordering the 4040487 tank for the JL, you do NOT need to order the JL Bolt Kit separately, the 4040487 already comes with that bolt kit. • If you wish to use your rear back-up camera with the Trail Trekker II tank you will need our Camera Mount Kit found here: Jeep JL Rear Camera Mount. • Some light modifications may be needed on stock/OE carriers for fitment of tank. • Will not work with stock Jeep XR edition spare tire carrier. Important: Tank is intended for temporary storage only. Full tank weighs approximately 100 lbs (45 kg). It is the user’s responsibility to ensure the mounting point on the vehicle is sufficient for the weight. Tank must be properly grounded at all times (see installation instructions). Always use a proper siphon pump. Never siphon fuel by mouth. Store only in a well ventilated area. Use out-doors only. Always wear eye protection when filling or transferring fuel. Avoid prolonged breathing of vapors. Keep out of reach of children. Gasoline is known by the state of California to cause cancer.
Really happy with the Titan sidekick tank in my Ford Raptor. It's super nice having an extra 15 gallons of fuel when we are up in the hills or on a road trip. I Would recommend their products to anybody.
